Introductory Blacksmithing Workshop

Utilizing the same principles of metalwork used for over 3,000 years, you will take a plain piece of steel and create functional art out of it! In this class you will learn the foundation of blacksmithing then get some iron into the fire. You will leave this one-of-a-kind experience with a handmade item plus stories to share with your friends.

Wear long pants and long sleeves that you don’t mind getting dirty and preferably leather close-toed shoes. Gloves, eye, and ear protection will be provided. Children 12 years of age and older may attend with a consenting adult.

Limit 6 people per class. Children under 12 must have an accompanying adult.
